The famous Japanese makers stopped taking new buyers.

Since late 2024 the old Japanese tea houses have limited how much matcha they sell. If you want a real amount, they say no or put you in a queue. The cheap matcha all comes from a few big sellers. This table only says what each powder is for. We are still finishing our own taste tests, so we do not publish numbers yet for how bitter it is, how well it mixes, how long the colour lasts, or how many grams to use. Until then, those numbers come with your samples.

Compare powders on this number, not on the price of a kilo. A powder that is 40% cheaper per kilo but needs 50% more in the cup has saved you nothing.

We have not put a calculator here yet. We want to finish our own taste tests first, so the prices and the gram amounts are real. Your price will be worked out from the grams you write down when you test the samples.

Quality and paperwork

Test the powder first. Order later.

We make it at our partner factory, Việt Thảo Nhiên, in the Lâm Đồng highlands. Everything happens on one site: pulling the tea out of the leaf, drying it, testing it and packing it. We have our own lab, and every batch gets its own code.

Ground by air jet, not by stone

Most Vietnamese matcha is ground on stone wheels. Those make only a few dozen grams an hour. We use big air-jet machines instead. That is why we can take an order of a tonne and just put it in the schedule.

Instant teas that melt in cold water

Green, jasmine, oolong and black tea, dried into powder. No bits at the bottom. No brewing. No added sugar or flavour. Almost no matcha supplier makes these, and the big extract companies will not sell the small amounts most drink brands need.

Matcha, instant teas and colour powders all come from the same factory, checked the same way. So several products can ship in one box. That means you can order less of each one.

The order size nobody else wants

Small craft makers cannot produce that much. The famous houses will not sell it. A few hundred kilos up to a tonne a month is exactly what we are built for.

The certificates buyers ask for

ISO 22000:2018, FDA factory registration and Halal. Without these, most buying teams are not even allowed to start talking to a supplier.

We have not published the powder grain size, the tea plant type or the harvest dates yet. We will, once we have checked them against what the factory is making right now. We would rather leave a box empty than print a number we cannot prove.
